To harness the effective use of negative pressure to expel hot stale air when riding, ARAI SZ RAM 4X helmet adopt innovative ventilation system to transfer heat from inside of the helmet to outside. There are six holes on top of the helmet. The two frontal air vents for air intake and the remaining four holes force the hot stale air out to the back of the helmet. The central mounted air diffuser for ARAI RAM 4X is gigantic compared to older RAM 4 helmet and you can control/stop the introduction of airflow.

The function of the central mounted diffuser is to suck the hot stale air out rather than the conventional method of trying to force fresh air into the helmet. In addition this TYPE-12 ventilation system allow air to flow smoothly on the intake side. The newly designed TYPE-12 ventilation system also enhanced the quietness of the front air intake.

ARAI SZ RAM 4 Back Air Venting System

Changes to the quick release visor have increased peripheral vision while the switches on the helmet airvents are now bigger, making them easier to operate wearing gloves. Between the trademark twin diffusers is now a five-position air wing, designed to reduce drag, turbulence and buffeting. ARAI SZ RAM 4X Unique Visor Brow Venting System

The purpose of the Visor Brow Ventilation System is to provide fresh cooling air into the rider's upper face area.

The two Visor Brow airvent scoops can be open by pulling down the shutter fin to let cool air (blue arrow) flowing from the outside onto the rider's forehead. The Brow Vent Faceshied Ventilation System technology disregard the need for holes in the critical forehead area or in the impact-absorbing liner material.

ARAI RAM 4X helmet has the newsest PB-SNC² SHELL constructed from Super Fiber and other special synthetic fibers developed for Formula 1 helmet visor panels, assembled by Arai in-house professionals.Arai's R75 shell shape creates a rounder, smoother helmet to enhance energy and impact dispersion while keeping the overall size and weight of the helmet to a minimum.
